History and Background
Since we have opened our doors in June 1999, the Kilkenny River Court Hotel has aimed to be the premier four-star hotel in Kilkenny. Our main aim since opening the hotel has been to address the needs of our customers and make their stay a memorable one.
One of the main reasons for that continued success has been our staff: “It’s our people who make the difference”
We have won numerous awards since our opening from Kilkenny Chamber, including an Environmental Award & Business Excellence Award. Customer care has always been the main focus in our hotel, and we have won Failte Ireland Optimus and Ireland's Best Award. The team at the Kilkenny River Court Hotel are very proud of our achievement as we gained the prestigious ‘Optimus Best Practice Award’. Given to us in May 2014, the award recognises our hotel continuous endeavours to focus on key business processes under the headings of Management, People, Operations and Customer Service.
